Veni, Fixit, Vici. Meshcrafts won the “The Pitch” at EU SME Assembly 2014 in Naples

In a Europe in economic problems, the SME community will be an essential piece to get rid of the crisis. All company presenting had good businesses that would solve some of the employment issues, and thus the economy.

The competition was at the EU SME Assembly in Naples, and the prestige were high between the 6 short-listed companies. After a 2 days conference about business development in Europe the startups  entered the stage to pitch there company, and winning the 1st price for “The Pitch”.

Meshcrafts with and Spanish company developing apps and sensors for gardening, was short-listed by the jury. Consisting of Ari Korhonen (EBAN), Elber Stoof (Get in The ring) and Marie Laenen (Sendabee). Then the audience were able to vote for one of the two contesters. Meshcrafts AS are proud that the Assembly participants voted for Meshcrafts AS, and that also they believe in a future were green mobility, not only solves emission problems but also contributes to solve the unemployment problem in Europe. The CEO of Meshcrafts AS Åsmund Møll Frengstad said:

“We are proud to just have been picked, and still haven’t grasped that we actually have won. A reward like this gives us great traction, and gives us the spirit to keep going.”

The trip to Naples gave us insight in the European ecosystem and better knowledge on how to address the European market in the future. This was just the first step of electrifying vehicles in Europa.
